Course Feedback

Over the 3 courses we have run so far, we have had  medical representation from :

Aberdeen, Airdrie, Ayr Utd, Celtic, Dundee Utd, Dunfermline,  Falkirk, Hamilton, Hearts, Inverness Thistle , Motherwell, Queen of the South,  Rangers, St Mirren, St Johnstone, and Stranraer football   clubs as well as Glasgow Hawks rugby club, and interested  medics not affiliated with any   particular team. There is an increasing interest from Doctors and physios who are asked to look after their own children’s  school football, rugby or hockey team at the weekend, and wish to best prepare for these events.

All  candidates were asked for their views on the course with feedback summarised.

Course Feedback

Overall, the pass rate for the last two  courses combined is 100% for the Scenario testing and 98% for the MCQ.

Anyone who does not  successfully complete an aspect of the course is required to repeat that assessment only. In the case of the MCQ this can be done usually within a month of the course when the candidate feels comfortable to take  the test again. Scenario testing will be undertaken at the next course  with the candidate being invited to attend the whole second day  if they wish and being given practice scenarios prior to undertaking their testing scenario.

Although most candidates have expressed apprehension at being required to undertake these assessments, the overall feedback is 100% positive that it is a necessary part of consolidating the learning experience and the course would be far less successful without them!
